According to the sales receipt from Bert Garrebeek (Caravan Tribal Art) from whom these objects were purchased in 2017 for 3000 Euros, they are “wooden statues, more than 100 years old”. However, since they have been adjudged by a group of experts to be recent copies, made for sale rather than for tribal use, we are referring to them as reproductions, and therefore as Contemporary Art (based on traditional tribal forms). Probably late 20th century.
